HR Services – recruitment agency, is looking for a „Accounting Assistant“ for international company in maritime industry.

Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join the team in Varna. The role will focus on handling accounting and finance-related tasks for group of international companies, working closely with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily bookkeeping and accounting for entities.
  • Process supplier invoices, employee expenses, and payments.
  • Assist with monthly reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding accounting matters.
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables and ensure timely customer payments.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; prior experience with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Curious and eager to understand and solve accounting issues and other challenges.
  • Good communication skills in English.
